Celebrating 90 Years of The Upper Room
This year, we joyfully commemorate The Upper Room daily devotional guide’s 90th anniversary — a testament to nine decades of fostering spiritual growth and unity. Born amid the challenges of the Great Depression, The Upper Room emerged from a simple yet profound idea: to reestablish the “family altar” — the practice of daily prayer and Bible reading in the home.
Today, The Upper Room is found in homes, churches, prisons, and hospitals around the world, touching millions of lives.
The U.S. Spanish edition, El Aposento Alto, is available in print and digital subscription options. Learn more about all our Spanish resources at Tienda.UpperRoom.org.
