ARCHITECTURE INTERIOR DESIGN Interior architecture is focused on the interior and its functionality for human occupancy. To create, renovate, or modify the interior of different buildings, such as homes, offices, or other interior spaces, architecture interior design combines art and science. Additionally, this style of architecture entails the transformation of one type of space into another (also known as adaptive reuse), such as the conversion of an old office building’s interior into living housing. They are usually involved in the building or rebuilding of interior environments, often changing the actual structure of the dwelling. To produce a safe and habitable living environment (such as correct plumbing and electrical system setup), they must take building structure and building codes into account. They also incorporate architectural design analysis into all of their projects. Additionally, interior architects may incorporate environmentally friendly design elements into their projects, such as “green” constructions with alternative heating and lighting systems.
