INTRODUCING WALL SCULPTURES SHAYNNA BLAZE X URBAN ROAD NEW POSTER COLLECTION

When Urban Road was founded in 2010 by self-taught artist and illustrator Suzie Atkin, the need was apparent – there was no way to bring high-quality original canvas art prints into the homes of everyday art-loving Australians.

Suzie’s dream soon turned into reality as she pioneered the way to making beautiful and affordable artwork accessible to savvy art lovers.

Joining Suzie as co-owner in 2013, Mishelle Morgan brought with her invaluable expertise in operations and product development, forming the other half of the dynamic duo leading Urban Road in the pursuit of becoming Australia’s go-to artwork supplier.

With the addition of home decor items, an amazingly diverse poster collection, and most recently our wall sculpture collection, our catalogue now includes over 1000 unique and beautiful items. Along with our rapidly expanding collection, we’ve now sold our artwork to over 8,000 customers, supply products to over 200 stockists spanning the entirety of Australia, and have shipped our products all over the globe.

Finding inspiration in the natural wonder of the Australian landscape, Reminisce is a celebration of warmth, movement and life, beautifully contrasting the infinite intricacies of native flora with boundless plains, painted with light and colour. A sense of timelessness is felt in constellations, reflected in the facets of semi-precious stones; blurred mountain ranges standing soft, yet resolute; the unfading beauty of black and white icons.

While each artwork stands perfectly in solitude, the culmination of pieces is a collection that assembles itself like a show reel of memories, created to be relived over and over again.

eaturing twelve breathtaking new artworks, IN PLANE VIEW is beautifully grounded, and yet still subtly ethereal, allowing its admirers to be taken on a journey to faraway places and moments.

Warm, earthy sands blend with cool, blue oceans and are accented by vibrant jewel-toned lakes and fields, making for a wonderful blending of colours and textures. By exploring aerial snapshots of deserts, oceans, fields and plains, and spinning them to create twelve uniquely beautiful artworks.

Of the collection, Shaynna says, “When Suzie and I decided to do our third collection, I knew exactly what it was going to be... It’s inspired by my years of travel around Australia and overseas - staring out of a plane window, and taking in the different shapes, patterns and palettes of the spaces below.”

FEATURE ARTIST

Christina Kwan is an Atlanta-based artist known for her abstract and floral works on paper. Her interest in creating art began from a young age. She continued to develop her voice through drawing, painting, and experimental installations inspired by floral imagery and the fragility of human relationships. Christina is now a freelance media and creative consultant, in addition to being an artist. She continues to explore imagery that moves the spirit through calligraphic strokes, fluid movement and precise marks.

This means the image is stretched around a 36mm frame to create a seamless, museum quality finish. All stretched and box framed art prints arrive ready to hang.

SHADOW BOX FRAMES We also offer the option to add a shadow box frame to your Urban Road canvas art print.

The canvas sits within the frame, 10mm from the edge, creating a shadow between the canvas and the frame. The depth of the frame is 50mm.

ROLLED ART PRINT Our new product provides you with the ability to display your Urban Road artwork with your own personal flair. Prints are made to order and professionally printed using a premium printer on durable, museum-quality, matte coated polycotton canvas. Your print will arrive wrapped and rolled in a protective tube with an Urban Road certificate of authenticity, ready to be professionally framed.

FINE ART PRINT Professionally printed using a premium, aqueous inkjet printer, producing a wide, vibrant colour spectrum. Printed using bright white, archival-quality, matte, 100% cotton rag stock for a fine art grade finish.
