BRIXTON BOOKJAM South London’s totally free, completely unpredictable quarterly hoedown for literature lovers is back for its first outing of the year. BERNARDINE EVARISTO AND MICHAEL PALIN - LIVE Two celebrated authors take to the National Theatre’s Lyttelton stage this month for a pair of special Penguin Live discussions. On the 12th, Booker Prize-winning Bernardine Evaristo explores why it’s such an exciting time to be a black female writer, whilst on the 17th Michael Palin talks comedy, adventure and his recent travels through North Korea. 7.30pm. SUPER NATURE AT THE GARDEN MUSEUM London’s first fair for art inspired by plants pops up in Lambeth this month. From oil paintings to photography, expect a multimedium celebration of everything that blooms - and all for under £500 a piece. Fancy making your own plant art?
