The University of Portland Theater respectfully acknowledges that our space rests on the traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla and many other Tribes who made their homes along the Columbia (Wimahl) and Willamette (Whilamut) rivers. The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde currently represent many of these tribes.
We give thanks to them; that we are here on their unceded lands and commit to treating their space as a living breathing entity that needs care and stewardship. We give thanks to this land as we continue to speak up for justice, a place in history, and a place in a future that demands to be better.

This is her fourth show as an SM and she is beyond excited to bring the audience into the world of UP theater. She loves observing and being in the room where magic happens. Jae previously stage managed Peter and the Starcatcher and Sanctuary City, and has gained credits working as a board operator. She also works in the costume shop and has a habit of poking or burning herself. She hopes you enjoy the show!!!
Olive Huxley, she/her (Actor-Deviser), is a freshman and excited to be in her very first show here at UP. She has been doing theater since she was eight but devised theater was a foreign language to her up until now. She is grateful for the experience and the support of the wonderful team working on this project! Enjoy the show!!
Maggie Kelly, she/her (Actor-Deviser), is beyond excited to be making her theatrical debut at the University of Portland. She is a first-year Political Science and Global Affairs major and a Constitutional Studies minor here at UP. She has been doing theatre for eleven years, with some previous credits including Ellie in Freaky Friday (Foothiller Players), Katherine
in Newsies (Foothiller Players), and Charon in The Lightning Thief (Foothiller Players). She has loved working on this production with this amazing cast, intensely analyzing the archives and learning the history of this fascinating university. She cannot wait for audiences to see this meaningful show and see the incredible artists she has been working alongside on this project. Go Pilots!
Kayla Matsuoka, she/her (Actor-Deviser), is a second year psychology and arts administration double major with a theater emphasis. She has loved being part of the UP productions You Can See All the Stars and Pride and Prejudice as an actor, as well as a technician for Sanctuary City and The Effect. Outside of theater, she sings with the University Singers and loves hanging out with her friends at Pilots After Dark, club meetings, or in the library. She has had so much fun working on this piece, and is so excited to share it with you all!

Annalie Nachreiner, she/her (Actor-Deviser), is a sophomore history major with a theater minor. New Works, New Voices is her debut on the University of Portland mainstage, and she was previously involved in the University Playhouse Theatre’s VHS Christmas Carol. She also finds herself involved in clubs such as La Mesa Redonda as well as activities such as piano and ballet. Annalie would like to thank her parents for encouraging her to explore her passions and
follow her dreams, as well as her friends for supporting her throughout it all. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she has.
Ly'Le Pullom, she/her (Actor-Deviser) is a third-year Music and Theatre double Major. She was last seen on the Mainstage her freshman year as Alyssa Greene in The Prom, but was an understudy for The Effect last spring.
When not spending her time with the theater program, you may see her performing with the UP Singers. This is her very first devised project, and she’s excited you get to experience this with her.
Aly Romero, she/her (Actor-Deviser), is a third year Elementary Education and Theater major from Anchorage, Alaska. Aly has been performing since she was three and has been a part of theatre since elementary school. Her recent roles include: Stage Directions in You Can See All The Stars, Mack/Ensemble in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Molly in Agatha Christie’s The Mouse Trap. In her very little free time, Aly enjoys crocheting, singing, thrifting, and chilling with her dog. Dipping her foot back into the devising pool, she is very excited to show what she and her cast mates have made and she hopes you enjoy the show!!
Shane Ruyle, he/him (Actor-Deviser), is a senior political science and social work double major. He is excited to be devising once more, after last being seen as one of the Darcy’s in Pride and Prejudice last spring.

He looks forward to his next two projects: Little Women with Magenta Theater and You Stupid Darkness at 21Ten. Ana Seisdedos, she/her (Actor-Deviser), is very excited to be a part of New Works, New Voices. This is her second time performing with University of Portland after transferring from Hawaii Conservatory of Performing Arts on Oahu, Hawaii. Her last performance with University of Portland was in You Can See All The Stars last fall. Since then, she has been tech crew in other performances of the last school year and most recently assistant directed The Effect last spring. Eu amo todos vocês.
