FIRST TERM CREATIVE ART PROJECT
DATE OF SUBMISSION: 27TH SEPTEMBER, 2023
CLASS: ELEMENTARY 5
TITLE: FLOWER VASE PAPER MACHE
MATERIALS NEEDED:
1. Newspaper/ any paper
2. Fabric stiffener
3. Mason jars
4. Paint (different colours)
PROCEDURE:
Step 1: Cut the paper/newspaper into about 4 inch long strips.
Step 2: Dip the paper strips into the stiffener and wrap around the mason jar.
Step 3: Build out and up as you go until the paper is covered into any organic shape desired.
Step 4: Allow this to fully dry for about a day.
Step 5: Once the paper mache is dry, grab the paint and create your own flower friendly work of art.
Step 6: Finally, decorate inside with your beautiful flowers.
Step 7: Bring project to school.
NOTE: Child will be assessed regarding the project.
