Speech Day 2026 We are looking forward to welcoming you to the School for Speech Day on Friday 26 June.

In order to facilitate the seating arrangements, please can you meet your child(ren) prior to the Speech Day event at their houses and enter the marquee with them.

Parking and maps Please see below our parking advice, which we hope is helpful. There will be a minibus shuttle service running regularly between The Middle playing fields car park and the USSC coach park during the following times • 08.30 – 09.45 • 12.00 – 13.00

School Shop Please note that the School Shop, located on High Street West, will be open from 10.00 – 17.00 on Thursday 25 June and Friday 26 June.

Refreshments and toilet facilities Tea, coffee, water and cake will be served in the Uppingham School Sports Centre from 08.30 until 09.30, there are also toilet facilities here.

Term ends

Please note that Friday is market day in the town so parking space on the roads will be at a premium. We would suggest you park at your child’s House.

Toilets are also available in and around the Williams Pavilion.

Comfort in the marquee The temperature in the marquee will vary depending on where you sit; please come with light layers to accommodate these variations.

Due to the heat we have a very relaxed dress code (shorts permitted). Please dress for coolness and comfort.

You are also strongly advised to bring a full bottle of water and perhaps a fan (not battery-operated).

Between the paths to the marquee and the carpeted flooring inside, there is a short section of grass which may still be damp depending on the weather!

Please note that the Leavers’ Service is for the parents of leavers only, who have already reserved seats.

Doors will open at 09.15 and everyone is asked to be seated by 10.00
