CHARITY ART AUCTION
CHARITY ART AUCTION
Thank you for joining us for this Charity Art Auction, an initiative to raise money for The Mango Tree as well as celebrating the work of the Uppingham community.
In this catalogue you will see a wonderful and varied selection of artworks. Some of these have been created by our talented pupils and staff (some, themselves, professional artists), others donated by friends outside of the School. We are so grateful for all the contributions.
The Mango Tree is a charity based in Africa, with projects aiming to improve the life of future generations in the communities in which they work, giving children and young people access to education, training and employment opportunities. The charity was founded by an Old Uppingham, and the School has worked with it for 20 years. This year sees the end of active fundraising in the UK as their projects become self-supporting, so the Art Auction will mark our final contribution to this remarkable organisation.
I encourage you to place bids, not only to help a very worthy cause, but also to celebrate some fabulous talent.
Big bids are welcome!
