Who can take part?

The UPPStart programme is open to all pupils in the Junior School. Some clubs and activities take place later in the day and are only available to Day Boarders. Day Boarder only activities are highlighted in bold.

What is involved?

Before your son or daughter decides on the activities that they will take part in, please take the time to look at the overview of each of them which will be available at the start of the Winter Term each year. What is on o er?

The co-curricular programme is based around the pupils’ enthusiasms, so there is some variation from year to year. Underlined clubs are permanent standing clubs which run every academic year, and descriptions of these clubs can be found in this booklet.

On the next page are some examples of the kinds of co-curricular activities that will be on o er, grouped by type. The final list for each academic year, including descriptions for each club and society on o er, is shared shortly before the beginning of the Winter Term. Please note that clubs in bold are only available to Day Boarders. Clubs in italics are planned for future years and will not be available in 2025-2026.
