Welcome to the May-July Community Gro Newsletter. I wanted to take a moment to update you on the recent happenings at Community Gro and share some exciting news and upcoming events within our Upper Ross and Garbutt Communities.
Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and participation in our programs and initiatives. It has been another busy few months, and we are thrilled to see our community thriving and growing.
Office Relocation: I'm delighted to announce that we have recently moved some of our staff into a new office space located on Riverway Drive. This expansion will allow us to better serve the needs of our community. However, please note that our Upper Ross Community Centre on Allambie Lane remains open and continues to welcome clients for support and meetings with our dedicated team. Support will continue to be based at the Upper Ross Community Centre.
Community Fun Day - Save the Date! Mark your calendars! Our highly anticipated Community Fun Day is scheduled for Saturday, 15th July 2023. For those of you who have attended in previous years, you know that this day is all about celebrating our vibrant community. It provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with local services, enjoy exciting activities together, savour delicious food, and have fun in the sun at Charles Moroney Park. We can't wait to see you there!
Activities at Upper Ross and Garbutt Community Centres: Our Upper Ross Community Centre and Garbutt Community Centre have some fantastic activities lined up for the upcoming weeks. Whether you're looking for a friendly chat over a cuppa, seeking support, or wish to utilize our facilities, we warmly welcome you to visit these centres. This newsletter provides information on our upcoming activities and events.
