Dear Members, We had a great turn out for the Regatta and the weather cooperated with sunshine. Everyone I talked with had a great time and is looking forward to next year. Thank you to all the sponsors, participants, Lisa Sweeney for the starting shot, Krissy Route for online work and pictures, KRSA for their help, Brad & Ann Hanson for timing, Eagle Landing for the terrific hot dogs and hamburgers and Sunrise Inn for having us there for the announcements and more fun. Thanks to the board members for the salad, beans and dessert and all their hard work. I apologize if I have missed anyone who participated in putting the event on, everyone’s hard work was appreciated. The ball games will be about done by the time this edition hits the streets. It is great that we are past our “COVID” years and back to having fun with our neighbors and coworkers. As I am writing this it is pouring rain but we need it. We will allow sunshine on game days. June is here, the fish will be swimming upstream and everyone will be hopping with tourists and Alaskans. The Chamber board normally doesn’t meet in June, July or August, but we will be having a short meeting about the middle of the month. If you have any questions or concerns for us give us a call and we can address them at the meeting. Have a great summer – keep smiling! Thank you,
