Veteran’s Day

Students, staff, and veterans all gathered on November 11, 2025, to honor men and women who served for our country. The program combined music, tradition, and honor. The National Anthem was sung by our 3rd and 4th grade students. Our 1st and 2nd grade students sang Grand Old Flag. Our high school band played Armed Forces Service Song and Stars and

Stripes Forever. Bailey Vance and Bella Barkholz, gave a heartwarming speech about our Veterans. Some of our students carefully folded the flags as Mr. Jordan Barcley and Mr. Phil Downey explained what each of the thirteen folds mean. Symbolizing values such as sacrifice, honor and memory of those who fought to defend our country. For many, it was a reminder not only of Veterans Day, but of the braveness and courage of our Veterans.

November Students of the Month

Congratulations yet again to our November Students of the Month. This month these students were picked based on their character and academic performance. A leader does not only focus on their own goals but helps everyone else

focus and reach their goals. These students this month particularly were selected to be congratulated on their accomplishments. They will receive their awards at the Board meeting, shining a light on them. The school would just like to say congratulations again to these students.

Save a life

The High School Student Council organized a blood drive with Vitri on Thursday, October 30th. The students use this as a fundraiser for their club and resources to save a life. We had twelve generous donors coming in with eleven able to donate. This is a miracle. Thank you to those who donated! We hope to see you again on February 19, 2026, for our next blood drive! As our season begins, teams are ready to open the season by playing Whittemore-Prescott on December 1, 2025. Coaches, players, and fans are excited to see how far these girls will go. With a mix of returning players and new additions, we will have a strong and strategic team. Our returning seniors, Ali Beebe and Callie Hicks, are ready to be

leaders on and off the court. Many younger athletes are stepping up to play on our high school teams. After suffering a hard injury to the knee, last basketball season, Bella Barkholz is really to jump back in and score points. Our girls are working hard to bring home the title of District Champions and hopefully move on. At the end of our season, Districts will be hosted in our gym, starting on March 2, 2026.

The Hale Chapter of the National Honor Society is more than excited to welcome in this year’s inductees. Each year students are chosen to apply to the NHS. This year we inducted four new members: sophomores Anella Barclay, Aleese Kimmerer, and Connor Runyan. We also inducted one Senior, Ali Beebe. Each of these students show and represent the four pillars of the National Honor Society: Character, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. We are ecstatic to see what these students bring to the program and to watch them grow with their experiences. Congratulations to our newest members!

VIP Day

On November fourth and fifth, Grandparents were invited to the school. They came to have punch and cookies with their grandchildren. During this time, the Scholastic Bookfair was open for the grandparents to take their grandkids to. The money raised at the Bookfair was used to buy more books for the school library.
