YOUR CLIMB STARTS Here

It’s college planning time — and we’re here to help.

PLAN Your PATH

Not sure where to begin? Don’t stress! This college planning checklist will walk you step-by-step toward your next great adventure.

Junior Year

Research schools and make a list of your top choices.

Register for campus visits (virtual or in-person).

Take the ACT or SAT (UPIKE is test optional).

Enroll in Advanced Placement or dual credit courses to start earning college credits.

Apply for private scholarships, such as UPIKE’s full-tuition scholarship (upike.edu/scholarships).

Senior Year

Apply to your top choices. Include official transcripts and test scores if required or preferred. Note that some schools charge an application fee, while others don’t (UPIKE’s application is free!).

Complete the FAFSA as soon as possible, beginning October 1. UPIKE’s code is 001980.

If you are submitting test scores in your applications, consider retaking the ACT or SAT to attempt a higher score.

Choose your college! It’s time to say “yes” to your offer of acceptance.

Review and accept financial aid packages.

Consider housing options and pre-enroll for college courses. UPIKE admissions counselors help all new students sign up for classes.
