The COVID-19 pandemic has deprived us of many experiences such as seeing our friends and family and going out for our own leisure. This has impacted us greatly, especially in terms of our mental health. Our young ones are no exception to this.
The closure of schools and childcare services and the transition to the online setup has not only disrupted children ’ s routines, but also deprived them of opportunities to grow their socio-emotional development through interaction with their peers.
What then can we do to ensure that our children grow up in an environment that nurtures their socio-emotional domain even while staying at home?
