University Welcome Assembly

Gave away free ice cream, fans, and bookmarks to incoming freshmen, shiftees, and transferees

DLS Merch Release

A new line of merchandise was released this year exclusively for sorority sisters

Org and Community Fair

Welcomed incoming freshmen, shiftees, and transferees in a physical booth in the Academic Oval Resident sisters gave away fans and bookmarks, and introduced the sorority

Mock Recitations

A two-day initiative held last August 19 & 26, 2023 for incoming freshmen to practice their recitation skills in a simulated face-to-face classroom recitation experience Tips were also given by professors from the UP College of Law

ADAPT 2023

Welcomed freshmen from the UP College of Law with a program in our physical booth, and gave away prizes and goodies last September 26, 2023

Si Malakas ay si Maganda

A full-day event which started with a talk on the legal rights and remedies of victims of gender-based harassment, followed by a self-defense workshop held last Oct 21, 2023 at Student Union Building, UP Diliman

Bar Operations

An annual initiative where resident sisters assisted in the preparation for our sisters who were set to take the exams This culminated with hands-on support and assistance from resident sisters on the three days of the Bar Exam

Beer Ops

A get-together held last October 7, 2023 in Hangout Katipunan to celebrate our sisters who took the 2023 Bar Examinations

Merry Rummage Sale

A fundraising bargain sale for second-hand clothing in time for Christmas held at December 2 at 1 Juan Luna cor. Balagtas, UP Campus, Diliman

Bejeweled by Taylor Swift because a lot of women, the sisters and I included, have gone through society making them question their value and I think I can speak from experience that being in the sor really helped me see my value and power as a woman and because of that, we all realize that we are our own gems and together we sparkle and make the whole place shimmer.

If your set had a movie, what genre would it be and what would the ending look like?

Classic teenage comedy-drama! Something like the sisterhood of traveling pants where we're all at different places at the same time but still magically connected somehow! The ending is us, of course making it through our trials together and coming out as a stronger, closer, and complete set!

Hi sisters! I don't know how to be inspirational or what to be inspirational about , but I know I'm not alone in saying that phew, 2023, thank you for the growth, but... did you really have to go that HARD?! What I mean is that I know a lot of us have undergone countless trials—ones we never even imagined could happen in one year, and ones we never even imagined we'd get through... but hey... we got through them, or at least we're getting through them . I can't promise that 2024 will be better because I am but a small girl and I have no powers to see into the future, but... in regards to DLS, what I tell myself coming into the new year is that 2024 may throw anything at me, but at least I know that I've got my girls to support me, hold my hand, and give me the strength I need to be able to see anything through. And so, sisters, I hope you know that I, and the rest of DLS, am here for you to seek comfort in after one heck of a year, and to draw strength from for another year to come . Manifesting more peace and light for us in this 2024, but one thing for sure is that—I've got my girls, and so do you AP

The Climb by Miley Cyrus because we always seek the higher things in life! Also, it's really the journey and the people you're with that matter.

Our set's movie would be in the genre of a coming of age movie, and we all discovered more about ourselves and each other throughout the process. There's no ending yet as we're still only at the beginning of our story. ;)

Yesterday’s Dream If your set had a movie, what genre would it be and what would the ending look like?

Comedy-Drama, The ending would illustrate our batch unity and growth as we triumphantly completed the process. After the final rites, we’ll celebrate outdoor specifically under the stars with a bonfire. Each of us, decked with initiation keepsakes, would offer unique reflections, laughing ringing against the waves. We will release glowing lanterns into the sky as the night progressed, symbolizing our mutual voyage to higher heights. Then for the final scene, we’re gonna do a tiktok trend.

It's easy to get tunnel vision-ed right now, but always remember all the tribulations that you overcame even when it seemed impossible. Also, take care of and prioritize yourselfthe you that saw you in your worst, the you who gave you headaches when it knew you needed to rest, the you that chose to get out of bed even when things seemed heavy... the you that was there for you all the time. Aries: Laughing and running you've clasped time's hands with your own, until he decided on constancy and you're left running all alone (Learn to slow down your pace and maybe one day your paths would again be in conjunction.)

Taurus: "The world is mine for the taking," you mutter to yourself as you stand on the ashes of the world you've once known (Nothing comes without a cost and you wanted everything all to yourself.

Look around and decide if the price was worth being left with nothing.)

Gemini: Twin mirrors hold you captive; the illusion of infinity may be normal but the way each of your reflections act differently certainly is not (What do you do when your crossroads seem more like a thousand roads converging into one? If only you can choose everything and nothing at the same time.)

Cancer: Iron fists hold on to the iron shackles that tether all your memories unto you heart; you're still chasing ghosts like they're rare lessons to be learnt (I'll trade my reality with yours if only you promise to stop playing hide and go seek with the monsters of your past.)

Leo: Not unlike a mighty lion with its roar reverberating throughout the distant skies, your shout of "I deserve more!" echoes through the silence of the otherwise peaceful night (The sky has never been your limit, and maybe you'd stop wanting more when you're bloated with getting what you want but never what you need.)

Virgo: Armed to the teeth with your pretty lies and well crafted stories, you may think you're tough but the world knows exactly how fragile your bones are (Keep telling yourself the lies you keep telling everybody else; lose the truth like the spare change you've disregarded that could've brought you straight back home.)

Libra: War has been waged and still you stand on the ground of neutrality; balance, after all, is what you value above all. I wonder what the world has to say when they pry your heart open and see that you've tipped your own scales to your own favor a long time ago (You pretend to be a person who doesn't pick sides, but you do you do you do; you're on no one's side but your own.)

Scorpio: Silvertongue, they call you. they marvel at your silken words, unaware of the poison that is laced with every syllable that is drawn from your throat (Anger has turned your blood into rust, and you'd give everything just to let it seep through and out of your pores. What would you do if the only way to rid yourself of the acid pumped by your heart is to bleed yourself dry?)

Sagittarius: You try and fit 61 seconds in a minute, sometimes even 25 hours in a day. every moment's just a passing fancy, each breath merely an inescapable habit. This world would never be enough for you, would it? You come to seek the great unknown, even that which is not meant to be sought out (They say curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction had brought it back. Im afraid that may not be the case here.)

Capricorn: You see yourself as a great puppeteer, all the strings securely tied around your careful fingertips. You construct for your audience a grotesque yet graceful little dance, making your puppets twist and turn and twirl endlessly. But what happens when your puppets grow tired of being controlled? (I'll tell you: they'd turn against you and create a twisted mirror image to control you instead.)

Aquarius: A threadlike line exists between being a dreamer and being a fool; tell me, on which side do you stand? A spectrum of realities exist and yours lie a bit too far from what is fathomable (And really, no one has quite yet decided whether that is necessarily a good thing or not. It is solely up to you then, to turn the tide with or against you.)

Pisces: You've been trapped in a world where the sky is descending and the stars are bleeding; you have grown half mad from fighting a battle against an unknown foe for an otherwise unknown cause (When will you see that the cage you find yourself in is a prison of your own making? The world isn't out to get you, nor are the galaxies conspiring against you. The only cosmic force affecting your life is your own damned mind.) the stars may be divine but often still they lie. do not let their blinding light blind you from what is true.
