TIGER DISCUSSIONS PAWS OUT 2 SUSTAINABILITY

Responsible leadership is at the core of our shared values as Pacificans. It requires individuals and organizations to carefully evaluate short and long-term social, economic, and environmental impacts of decisions before acting. The University of the Pacific is committed to creating a campus culture that advances this approach for a sustainable future among all members of the Pacific community.

Pacific has pledged to demonstrate this commitment through the use of sustainable practices in the conduct of all operations, as well as sustainability-focused educational programs, research, and outreach with our local communities.

If you've been able to visit campus lately or perused social media, you may have seen the new solar canopies- one of the most recent projects Pacific has cultivated to live up to our commitment. These canopies will cover spaces in eight parking lots around the 175 acre Stockton campus and provide 30% of our power.

Every April, Sustaining Pacific puts together a month of programs to educate and engage Pacificans on what sustainability is and how to get involved. Check out this issue of The Roar for upcoming events and activities and ways you can share in Pacific's commitment to developing sustainable habits for a more sustainable future.

COMMUNITY NEWS STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Evan Frisbie | Music Industry Studies '22 HOW HAS YOUR CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT INFLUENCED YOUR PACIFIC EXPERIENCE?

My involvement in the Community Involvement Program, better known as "CIP" at Pacific has had the greatest impact on my experience as a student. student.

In fact, the CIP program is the sole reason why I was able to attend a university like Pacific considering I was a first-generation college student from Stockton who doesn't come from money. CIP has allowed me to impact and engage with my local community through volunteerism in positive ways I never knew I could as I further my education at Pacific.

Pacific. My CIP cohort and mentors have encouraged me throughout my studies as well as to pursue and use my passion for singing and making music to improve the quality of life- my own and the city I have grown up in- during and even after my time as a Pacific student.

FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE APRIL 27 - MAY 5, 2021 The final scheule is set up with three hours allotted for each final exam and given in the same testing location (room/modality) that the course was tuaght in unless the instructor has made other arrangements through the Office of the Registrar.

The hours scheduled are 8:00-11:00am, 12:003:00pm, 3:00-6:00pm, 5:00-8:00pm, and 7:0010:00pm.

Multiple Exams: Students should review the schedule prior to registering for courses to avoid conflict or multiple examinations on a single day.
