LeRoy is a reflection and gratitude to my Grandfather Ronald LeRoy Chase who passed away early February of 2022. My Grandfather brought me up watching media with strong female protagonists featured in many of the Studio Ghibli movies and shows. He was sure to feed my imagination and encouraged me to fully embody the healing fairy I believed myself to be. Part one of this piece is a reflection of these strong female characters who so wonderfully encapsulate the tender and powerful divine feminine. The dancers transition from throne to battlefield in an instant. In part two, we transition to a lovely duet with Alexis and Meaghan: a reflection of acceptance, love, inner child healing, and a surrender into love. Thank you to my dancers for collaborating with me, and thank you to my grandfather. Rest Easy Good Man.

The End Epoch Choreography: Chloe Barry in collaboration with Dancers Group Cast: Maddie Colesano, Elijah Cook, Kristina Delos Reyes, Sophie Greenwood, Cassidy Hunsinger, Juliana Van Hook, and Max VanNocken-Witmer Duet Cast: Anna Kazwell and Megan McHugh Music: Suitcase Man and Montabone by Hjaltalín Lighting Designer: Abby Pace This piece is a science fiction interpretation of what could happen if we did nothing to stop climate change and reached the point of civilization collapse. It begins with a group navigating shifting social structures and an increasingly hostile environment and finishes more on the fiction side of science fiction, with the experiences of a pair hundreds of years later as something mysterious is released from the ice.

Self Determined /Connection Choreography: Alexis Guerrero in collaboration with Dancers Performers: Aria Green, Alexis Guerrero, Masio Sangster, Grace Smith Music: ‘Blue Turning Gray’ by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah ‘As Long As We Have These Things’ by Simo Cell Lighting Designer: Mya Dixon The definition of autonomy is independence in one’s thoughts or actions. This work explores what it means to be autonomous in connection and collaboration with others.
