Regimen or Ritual Choreography: Aubrie Nield Holman Music: “New Light” by Gidge Lighting Design: Cole Adams Costume Design: Olivia Mason Dancers: Maddie Colesano, Madeline Nelson, Amelia Rukavina, Olivia Schmaltz, Daniela Sherman, Paige Suttich, Amber Waltershield, Katie Winslow, Kiana Yusefzadeh My piece is a contemporary styled work inspired by the routines that we create in our lives. These routines are unique to each of us. Some have a negative restricting effect on us, while others are comforting and keep us sane. I want to thank my beautiful dancers for embracing this work and making it their own.

Monophobia Choreography: Zephan Holt Music: “TREE” by Ólafur Arnalds Lighting Design: Cole Adams Costume Design: Rachel Hayes Dancers: Tess Bernstein, Annie Clifford, Makayla Larsen, Kendall MacMillan, Emily Marsh Monophobia is the fear of being alone, which is what inspired this piece. “Monophobia” tells the story of an individual slowly getting over their fear of interaction and becoming part of a group. I wanted to tell this story because I have struggled with social anxiety in the past, and I wanted to share how I felt as I struggled with this issue. I also

want to thank my dancers for all of the effort they have put into this piece, none of this would have been possible without them. They have helped me tell my story, while also expressing themselves through the movement. I hope you enjoy seeing this story as told by their movement.

Моя Україна Choreography: AJ Maio Music: “Transcarpathian Suite” by Ron Cahute, “Zozulechka” by Burdon Folk Band Lighting Design: Cole Adams Costume Design: AJ Maio and Olivia Mason Dancers: Maya Belcove, Erin Butts, Megan Lynch, Gigi McConnon, Jilli Snow, Natalie Taylor Welcome to my piece, “Моя Україна.” I focused on experimenting with and researching dance styles from various regions of Ukraine. As a UkrainianAmerican, I began to define what Ukrainian traditional dance means to me, as I created a piece with elements of Ukrainian folk dance, character dance, and Ballet. I would love to thank my amazing cast, Melissa Bobick, and Syzokryli dance ensemble for all of their amazing work and guidance.

We all have doubts, we all get lost, but we also all have powers that we may not realize or appreciate. Here’s to the people that ground us, the passions that drive us, the insights that guide us, and the stories that inspire us along the way. Special thanks to Leigh Bardugo as well as to my amazing cast.

While choreographing this piece, I was inspired by the innate human need to belong. The choreography follows the process of finding a place where you really belong when it seems like all odds are against you.

Costume Design: Rachel Hayes Dancers: Daniel Cohen (he/him), Anna Kazwell (she/her) Platonic relationships can be just as intimate, just as meaningful, and just as tender as romantic ones.

A duet danced by a man and a woman may first bring to mind a hetero-romantic relationship, but I’d like to challenge you, the viewer, to view this work under a platonic lens.

HeartStrung Choreography: Annastasia Beller Music: “Je Te Laisserai de mots” by Patrick Watson, “I Cook When I’m Homesick” by Dania Lighting Design: Cole Adams Costume Design: Rachel Hayes Dancers: Hope Farrar and Grace Story HeartStrung was inspired by a story I never see onstage. I began with an exploration of gestures, eye contact, and selective physical proximity. The piece grew to encompass the individual styles and personalities of the dancers, creating a unique narrative that I alone could never tell.

Starting with unsure actions and questioning movements, it then builds into complete trust; the intimacy and assurance of falling with the knowledge of having someone to catch you.

Maya Belcove (soloist 11/19, 11/20 mat.), Annie Clifford, Fernanda Guzman, Anouk Haffner, Gigi McConnon Understudy: Vanessa Hudson Te Quiero Te Quiero Te Quiero reflects a personal journey about what it means to feel connected to one’s heritage and community. An unclear sense of identity can bring feelings of isolation and disorientation, but how might we be able to push

past the discomfort and embrace every part of ourselves? Special thanks to my family for their unconditional love and support!

Held Here Choreography: Makenna Ferre Music: “Doing the Wrong Thing” by Kaki King and “Up and Over” by Makenna Ferre Lighting Design: Cole Adams Costume Design: Rachel Hayes Dancers: Haylie Decamara, Lilly Hammons, Aubrie Nield Holman, Dakota King, Raquel Miller, Rebecca Schenk, Kiana Yusefzadeh The inspiration for my piece, Held Here, originated from the common human experience of having a dream or a goal, wanting to achieve it, but feeling held back by self-doubt and fear. The first movement of this piece is meant to showcase those feelings of confusion and fear. However, by pushing through that doubt, there is nothing better than growing through those fears and letting yourself achieve what you want to do. The second movement of the piece portrays a level of growth and relief that is achieved when you push yourself through that fear and allow yourself to accomplish what you truly want to. This story parallels my own experience of growing out of my own fears that held me back from releasing music.

The second piece of music that I use in my piece is one of my original songs, “Up and Over,” which describes a similar circumstance about letting go and overcoming something that no longer serves you. I would like to thank my dancers for being so open to explore this process with me and turning my ideas into a work of art.
