50ForFifty Initiative Celebrating 50 years
Celebrating 50 years In 2022, the University of Limerick (UL) will celebrate its 50th Anniversary. UL Foundation is marking this major milestone with an ambitious new initiative aimed at securing fifty additional scholarships, through our new 50ForFifty initiative.
There is no better way to celebrate the University’s first fifty years than by investing in tomorrow’s
leaders. Scholarships transform lives. They are one of the most impactful ways our donors can support UL students.
Last year we provided financial assistance to more than 100 students but demand always far
outweighs supply and we want to go even further in 2022.

Direct and meaningful impact 50ForFifty is broad and flexible, with UL Foundation positioned to deploy scholarship funds across any discipline at UL. We can accept gifts at any financial level from €5,050. Our priorities are broad and include: 1. Access

Support 50forFifty All funds raised will directly support either: those who need financial assistance; are the best in their
field; or advance priorities that are important to you. Generous financial backing from the University of Limerick means the Foundation commits 100% of your donation to the Scholarship.
