Welcome to Chester Business School
Welcome to Chester Business School and to Queen’s Park. I am delighted to say that today you are visiting an award-winning School. Thanks to the hard work of our students and staff, we were awarded Business School of the Year at the 2024 Times Higher Education Awards, which are like the Oscars for universities!

At Chester Business School, we offer something different; Business courses that prepare you for your career ahead.
Chester Business School is situated at the stunning Queen’s Park site, nestled on the banks of the River Dee. Following a £4 million investment, students have access to state-of-the-art learning spaces in a mix of modern and historic buildings.
Only a short distance from the lively city centre, it provides a friendly, secure and supportive environment in which to study. Facilities include open access PC suites and a dedicated Business library. Chester Business School is made up of the following subject areas:

Registration at Exton Park
After you have registered we hope you’ll enjoy spending time at our Exton Park site, looking at accommodation, taking a tour, visiting our Information Fair and more. Please refer to your Open Day Guide for full details of these activities.
Subject Sessions at Queen’s Park
Once you have seen everything you would like to at Exton Park, please make your way over to Queen’s Park to talk to course area staff and attend our welcome and subject sessions. There will be a shuttle bus departing from Exton Park (map reference 5 - NoWFood Centre) at 11:15* and then throughout the day. Alternatively, you are welcome to make your own way there on foot or by car (ample parking is available). Please see directions on page 7.
Teaching staff will be on hand at Queen’s Park until 16:00 to answer any questions.

Getting to Queen’s Park
Walking from Exton Park to
Queen’s Park 25-minute walk
Exit Exton Park and turn right onto Parkgate Road.
Continue onwards on Parkgate Road till you reach Fountains Roundabout
Proceed through the subway, exiting on the opposite side.
Continue along Northgate street to The Cross, where Chester’s main streets meet.
At The Cross continue straight onto Bridge Street.
At the crossroad turn left onto Lower Bridge Street.
Upon reaching the Old Dee Bridge, turn left and follow the river to Queen’s Park suspension bridge.
Head over the Queen’s Park Bridge.
Continue along Victoria Crescent until you reach the entrance to the Campus on the right hand side.
Driving from Exton Park to Queen’s Park 5-minute
drive
Exit Exton Park and turn right onto Parkgate Road/A540
Follow Parkgate Road as it merges into Upper Northgate Street/A5116
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto St Martin’s Way/A5268
Continue on A5268 through five sets of traffic lights
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Grosvenor Road/A483
Turn left onto Castle Drive
Turn right and go over the Old Dee Bridge
Turn left onto Queen’s Park Road
Turn left into Queen’s Park Campus
A shuttle bus service is available throughout the day, departing from Queen’s Park, and from outside the NoW Food Building at Exton Park (see page 15 of your Exton Park Open Day Guide). Shuttle buses will be running from 9:30am to 4.00pm.
