How to Apply:

Step 1. Visit our website.

Visit the accommodation application page on our website. accommodation.chester.ac.uk/apply

You will need your Student ID number, which you will find on your offer letter.

Step 2. Select your preferred accommodation.

The application form will ask you to select your preferred accommodation type, such as: quiet accommodation, single sex accommodation or alcohol free accommodation. After this, you’ll have to select your room preferences; rank your preferred room type from one to eight. It is also a good idea to have a budget in mind and prioritise accordingly when making your selection.

Please note, applicants can still apply if they miss the deadline or have chosen Chester as their Insurance choice, however, we cannot guarantee accommodation for these applicants.

Step 3. Confirm your choices.

Check over the information provided, amend as necessary, and then click ‘confirm’.

Step 4. Pay your deposit.

Once your application has been received, we will contact you to confirm the accommodation you have been allocated, and provide you with the full terms and conditions of the accommodation offer made. Applicants will be asked to pay a deposit of £250* to secure the room – this will later be returned as a deduction from your final term’s rent.

*Payments, terms and processes will be slightly different to those referred to partner accommodation, you will be contacted by ourselves and partners in the event of any referral.
