Word from the Director A word from the Artistic Director

We’ve got an action-packed season for the whole family to enjoy, live and onstage!

Our first show, Nine Girls, is a gripping 1940s mystery filled with twists, secrets, and suspense that will keep you hooked—and guessing—right up to the final moment. Think you can solve the mystery before the night’s over? Come find out!

A must-see for the whole family: If you loved the animated classic The Prince of Egypt, get ready to experience it live on the Knight Hall stage. Expect dazzling spectacle, breathtaking dance, and an epic story of Biblical grandeur brought vividly to life.

Come see what happens when Christmas gets turned upside down! From comic catastrophe to touching surprise, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a festive romp filled with laughs, love, and a fresh look at the true meaning of Christmas.

Bathrobes are back — and better than ever! It’s our beloved tradition where talented students write and direct their own brand-new 10-minute plays that complement our Christmas production. This year, crafted entirely by the next generation of theatre makers, three standout plays have been chosen to kick off an unforgettable evening of theater: Savanah Hunter’s Deck the Dolls, Carter Lambert’s Heart to Heart, and Kaylee Selin’s Assisted Living.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream set in the industrial revolution…and a little bit of steampunk: Don’t Dream It—Live It. In this world of gears and glamour, moonlight and machinery, Shakespeare’s timeless tale bursts with invention, humor, and heart. We’re excited to bring back a Thursday Student Matinee on February 26th, at 10 a.m.

If you’ve seen the original 12 Angry Men, why not experience it anew—with one all-male cast and one all-female cast bringing fresh perspectives to the story? Experience a powerful journey of conflict, conviction, and unexpected twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last verdict.

This season has all of your favorites; we do hope that you will enjoy the laughter, tears, spectacle, and pure entertainment from UNW Theatre this year!

School group matinee Thursday, Feb. 26th @ 10 a.m. (visit unwtickets.com for more information)

Shakespeare’s most enchanting comedy gets a bold new twist—set against the smoky skies and brass-bound wonder of the Industrial Revolution. Welcome to a steampunk-inspired dreamworld, where steam power meets fairy power, and nothing is as it seems.

On the shortest—and strangest—night of the year, four wildly entertaining tales collide: a royal wedding amid the rise of industry, a feud between the mechanicalminded fairy king and his fierce queen, young lovers thrown into a whirlwind of romantic confusion, and a troupe of amateur actors cobbling together a play with more ambition than talent.

Expect love, mischief, and a touch of steam-powered magic. This is A Midsummer Night’s Dream like you’ve never seen it before.
