While winds like wild dragons tore apart the glade, I felt so alive I wrote this poem.

Courage is not outside of fear. It is the ability to feel fear fully and keep pressing forward.

This is what makes us unstoppable. Here it is.

Knees all tremble in the appearance of the not-so-supreme potential of death.

Imagine the scene in the middle of nowhere, with no one to share, when a storm hits so strong a tree is uprooted and thick boulders split bare.

It can be a scary mix.

I sit here, watching lit candle wicks icker while the wind destroys the air.

Sky debris is torn apart by an invisible chainsaw as the cabin roof uctuates like paper in front of a leaf blower.

Yet, in fear, I return to the original knower. Without awareness, fear would not exist.

That is the twist.

Courage is the same. Waiting to break free. Even in the face of fallen trees and seeming disaster profane.

It is phenomenal how fear can sway our feelings. All it takes is a moment. A split decision.

The knee-jerk reaction for it to begin.

Right now, the air is thick with droplets hammering down like nails.

As everything inside me shouts, I hear crashes, and the battering of water splashes against everything I have built.

The heart starts throbbing in my neck. Yet, bright like the sky, awareness is already set.

Questions race through my head with images of trees crushing me dead.

I have already bled enough surviving here. The wilderness is tougher than tough.

Or at least, the fear begs for that relief.

The true meaning behind my eyes is how blessed I am to be alive.

I am alive.

Fear is an incredible thing.

It makes us see our connection to life in the potential of losing it.

Never a reason to give up.

Out here in the wilderness, everything is dangerous.

Perilous.

Almost as if chaos loves to ex its muscles.

Yes, I can feel it. My heart thumps with its blessing.

With grace, deep down, I recognise this is the start of courage. In the face of everything, the true light within your heart brings forth a platform to start being strength.

The feeling of fear only acts as a catalyst.

As the oods open their stark gates, a spark for greatness, who you and I have always been, is free from the emotional gyration.

Let go of hesitation. Rise up, untamed nation.

For you are stronger than you ever knew you could be. More exible to the challenges that desperately try holding you down.

They can not keep you disempowered anymore. Because the oor, my friend, is yours till the end.

From here to the endless end, we stand strong shoulder to shoulder. Bonds run deeper than deep.

Defending the fundamental freedom of courage in the face of all fears. The bravery to rise even when shedding tears.

It is your time now. Realise this, beautiful friend. The world does not end when you take a stand.

Unite as one across all lands.

It does not mean that anything is over. It is the start of something new for you to relax into what you always thought you could be.

Maybe you never felt ready to try. Dare to try. Do you need a why?

Freedom from judgement. Judgment has come, and here you still stand.

Now, that old part of you is the only thing that will die. What rises from the ashes is vast and unending, like the purest sky.

Even as the storm hits hard, the sky is never cut or scarred.

It is greater than your greatest challenge. The winds around the cabin roar like a wild jaguar taring down all doors.

The doors of our minds must break apart before we can nd that fresh new start.

A beginning more profound than any of us could ever fathom. It is the freshness of what is looking out of your eyes.

An untold romance free from controlling lies.

Because you are vast, open and free, my friend.

Unbound, never gagged or scratched.

For your challenges, they do not de ne you, dear friend.

Who you are is more than anyone tries to place upon your head when desperately attempting to control the unde nable you.

It is time to rewind who you see yourself as.

The origin story is now ready for you to step into the power that is yours to command. It is nowhere else but right here in your mind.

For our minds, dear friends is all anything ever is.

Without awareness, there would not be any experience for you to grasp or run from.

This innate knowing, great one, gives us the courage we seek from here to Lands End.

As the peak of the winds rips through everything all at once, I am alive.

All you wish for and everything you could be is already inside you, waiting to be free.

That freedom is waiting for your hand to reach out and touch it.

The ultimate task, dear friend, is to drink from the cup of your heart because now is your time, and no one can stop you.

The winds remind me of courage unending.

Their song as empowering as the vast roar through endless sky.

Clear is the way forward.

With freedom from blame, it is time to reverse what others may say is a shame and take a stand because you are open like the sky, dear friend, completely unashamed. © 2024+
