The launch of Unreasonable CHANGE, a three-year strategic collaboration between Accenture and Unreasonable, creates an ecosystem of support to scale ventures that are at the forefront of innovating a more sustainable future.

An industrial engineer by trade, Willson has implemented improvement projects in manufacturing industries ranging from aeronautics to smart meters, wineries, gourmet chocolates, glass production and pharmaceuticals. He founded Arcstone in 2013, after he had been designing production simulation software for the world’s largest bio-manufacturers. Focused on blending machine and human operations, he developed the Arcstone Operations Platform (arc.ops) to efficiently provide visibility, control and optimisation to a massive range of industries. The platform enables companies to automate, integrate and streamline entire processes within a facility at fractions of market cost. He continues to drive a data-centric manufacturing revolution in Southeast Asia, encouraging like-minded companies to upend the status quo for manufacturing enterprise solutions through the Singapore Willson Deng Manufacturing Consortium (SIMCO).

Prior to Astraea, he was a co-founder and the founding CEO of PsiKick, a successful ultra-low-power wireless semiconductor and systems startup. Prior to that, he was Co-Director of Private Equity at Investure, a $12B asset management consortium of university endowments and non-profit foundations. From 1993 to 2007, he was a venture capitalist based in Silicon Valley and Geneva, Switzerland, investing in early-stage tech companies in Europe and the US. His early career included stints in strategy consulting with Strategic Planning Associates (now Oliver Wyman), financial analysis at Wells Fargo’s Private Bank, and fundraising as Director of Sponsorship for the Whitewater Rafting World Championships. Brendan is also Brendan Richardson currently an Adjunct Professor at Co-Founder & CEO the University of Virginia (UVA), where he teaches VC Investing and Entrepreneurship. As part of the EU’s sustainable finance plans, increased sustainability reporting through the SFDR, EU Taxonomy, and CSRD are at the cornerstone of the plan. Briink’s AI/ML technology offers services that automate taxonomy analysis, reducing the burden on financial institutions and corporations. Their platform has three primary features: taxonomy eligibility screening, taxonomy portfolio alignment assessment, and data visualization of portfolio assets. This allows financial institutions and corporations to assess baseline inclusion with the taxonomy quickly and supports more in-depth alignment analysis for individual companies and complete portfolios, simplifying the documentation collection and review process.

Tomas van der Heijden is a green tech entrepreneur based in Berlin. His journey into the legal and regulatory tech space began in 2016, when he moved from his position as a corporate finance lawyer at Stikeman Elliott LLP in Canada to ROSS Intelligence, a Y Combinator Silicon Valley start-up that pioneered the application of AI to primary law data. While at ROSS, Tomas led Product & Legal. He developed the product vision and strategy alongside the company’s Co-Founder & CTO. As a result, their product consistently averaged an NPS score over 50, limited churn to less than 5%, and grew 20% month over month. Tomas’s vision to use AI to simplify sustainable finance Tomas van der Heijden reporting led to him cofounding Briink in 2021 Co-Founder & CEO together with Samuel King.

Jasmine Crowe is an award-winning social entrepreneur, TED speaker and leader who is working to make the world a better place one cause at a time.

In 2017, after years of feeding people experiencing homelessness from her own kitchen, she launched Goodr, a sustainable waste management company that leverages technology to combat hunger and reduce food waste.

She has been featured on CNBC, in Oprah Magazine, Inc., Forbes, Fast Co., NY Times, Ted Talks, and was named by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the top 100 influential female founders.

Under her direction, Goodr has redirected nearly 10M pounds of surplus food from restaurants, event centers, airports, and businesses to the millions of Jasmine Crowe people who are food insecure.

Before Rentle came to shake up the rental scene, one rental transaction would need up to five third-party solutions to complete the process, and still, the profit margins are generally quite low. Tuomo is passionate about the circular economy, and creating better and more profitable rental experiences, as he says: “I kid you not, lots of existing rental systems are still being run locally on Windows Vista or XP.” Previously, Tuomo co-founded Vitrine Digital Oy to create marketing tools for small businesses with the help of mobile marketing and mobile applications. Rebecca Hui is an artist, designer, and entrepreneur with over eight years of experience working with isolated and creative communities. She is the CEO and founder of Roots Studio, which digitizes and provides IP to creative indigenous communities for licensing into the $32B fashion and retail market. Roots Studio has been featured by the Stanford Social Innovation Review, TechCrunch, WGSN, PremiereVision Paris, amidst others. Rebecca has had a 8-year passion exploring rural to urban transitions, having first followed cows in her mapping project, “Life through the Perspective of a Cow” when she was a Fulbright Scholar and National Geographic Explorer.

Itching to turn insight into action, she became a MIT-TATA Fellow consulting the Government of Maharashtra, alongside the World Bank, on strategic planning and modeling of rural water supply systems across 44,000 villages.

Anshuman is the Founder & CEO of Terra.do. He previously worked at Google, sold two internet businesses, and was CPO at a NASDAQ-listed $3B online travel company, while his co-founder has been teaching climate for two decades across academia including Oxford. A serial entrepreneur, Anshuman co-founded and sold his first startup while in undergrad at IIT Bombay, seeing it through the first boom and bust on the internet. After his MBA at Stanford, he began selling solar lights in Vietnam and started a non-profit that helped Indian Members of Parliament develop their constituencies. He also spent time working with Deloitte, and then Google in New York. He moved to Bangalore to start an online travel company, and then was CPO of MakeMyTrip after its acquisition. In 2020, a classic Anshuman Bapna midlife crisis inspired him to Founder & CEO search what was truly worth working on, and then along came Terra.do. He currently lives in Stanford University where his wife is finishing her PhD. He has two kids, and often finds himself taking climate inspiration (and career advice!) from them these days.
