DATA SOURCES The majority of the figures in the country profiles were extracted from the UNECE Statistical Database (unece.org/data), an online collection of official statistics from national and international sources. Supplementary data for small countries (Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco and San Marino) were obtained directly from the statistical offices of these countries. Data on the population of capital cities were obtained from National Statistical Offices or, where not available, from the United Nations Demographic Yearbook (data available online at data.un.org).
