PERMIT PARKING Parking and Transit Services uses a virtual permit system. Just purchase your semester or annual permit online, and you’re ready to park on campus. Permits go on sale August 1. Flexible virtual permit options are available for faculty, staff, students, and visitors in addition to annual and semester permits. Virtual permits purchased by students, housing residents, or graduate teaching assistants are transferred to MavLINK for payment, along with fees like tuition.
SHORT-TERM OPTIONS The Park Omaha app or garage kiosks can be used to pay for hourly or daily parking in the West Garage (near Maverick Village on Dodge Campus) and the Pacific Street Garage (across from the Peter Kiewit Institute on Scott Campus) at any time. Lot A (north of Kayser Hall on Dodge Campus), Lot C (north of Milo Bail Student Center), and Lot M (south of the Criss Library) also have designated Pay-to-Park stalls, although there is a two-hour maximum in these spaces.

UNO Dance Marathon (UNODM) is a student committee working to raise money and awareness for the local Omaha Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and is part of a national student-led movement benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The fundraising and awareness campaign caps off with OMAthon, a 12-hour dance marathon event. Be a part of something bigger than yourself and get involved with UNODM, Kids Can’t Wait.
Student Government represents UNO students to administration, faculty, and staff, as well as the University of Nebraska Board of Regents and the community. They strive to lead, support, and make lasting, positive contributions to the student body. The Freshman Leadership Council and student agencies within Student Government offer even more ways to get involved.

STUDENT CONDUCT UNO expects students to maintain standards of personal integrity that are in accordance with the goals of the institution. This means that students are expected to assume responsibility for their actions; observe national, state, and local laws and university policies; and respect the rights and property of others.
UNIVERSITY COMPLIANCE The Office of Diversity, Equity, Access and Inclusion (DEAI) investigates allegations of illegal discrimination and harassment. This office also leads the campus-wide effort to develop and sustain an inclusive and supportive campus climate.
BEHAVIORAL REVIEW TEAM (BRT) Focused on prevention and early intervention in campus situations involving students experiencing distress or engaging in harmful or disruptive behaviors, the BRT coordinates a network of existing campus resources. Members of the BRT review and address every submitted report and may develop intervention and support strategies, offer case coordination, and provide recommendations in accordance with university policies.
TITLE IX & REPORTING MISCONDUCT UNO is responsible for responding to allegations of sexual misconduct and gender discrimination and to immediately stop the behavior, remedy its effects, and prevent its recurrence. Prohibited conduct includes dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, stalking, and retaliation.
