A WARM WELCOME TO THE OPEN DAY I am delighted to welcome you to the University of Wolverhampton’s undergraduate Open Day. Today offers the perfect opportunity for you to find out more about course and career options and what student life is like at our campuses in Wolverhampton, Walsall and Telford. As the ‘University of Opportunity’, we strive to give all of our students the best possible student experience. We’re in year three of our biggest ever investment programme, which is generating over £250 million by 2020 to enhance our campuses, laboratories, classrooms, subjects, social spaces and more – all for the benefit of people like you, who are looking to explore their talent and realise their career ambitions in a state-of-the-art learning environment. Today, you can view our excellent facilities, go on tours of our campuses and see where you could be living in student accommodation. Our comprehensive programme of activities, from subject talks to hands-on workshops, gives you a taster of our courses and the chance to ask as many questions as you like. You can also visit our Campus Life area, where you can chat to students and staff about life on campus, student support and career opportunities. It is a testimony to our students and staff that 96.3% of our graduates are in employment within six to eight months of graduating. That could be you in three years’ time.

First things first: whichever campus you attend, you’ll need to register. We’ll be ready to greet you in dedicated registration areas – if you’ve pre-booked online, simply show your fast-track entry card and away you go!
