Good evening,

First, I would like to welcome you to the University of St. Francis Caritas Scholarship Ball. We are so excited to host such an amazing event that highlights the generosity and compassion of special individuals like you.

When I moved on campus I knew I made the right decision. At St. Francis, I immediately feel seen. I could feel the compassion and love that this campus gives to its students, and upon meeting other incoming freshmen, I knew I would make lifelong friends.

I was blessed with scholarships created through the generosity of the very people participating in Caritas today. It has not only helped me through college without financial stress, but it has also helped many of my peers and other first generation college students just like me. I will be able to continue my education because individuals like you have helped me through every step of my college career.
