BLUE RIDGE 225 STUDENTS

Located in the popular mountain town of Blue Ridge along the scenic Appalachian Highway, our newest campus is a warm and welcoming place. Small class sizes help you build relationships with classmates and professors. A program unique to this campus is the Blue Ridge Scholars Program — a cohort program that involves incoming freshmen with community engagement activities and a student-led service project.

Candace Seabolt ’20 experienced some “firsts” as a UNG student. She was in the first group of students selected for the Blue Ridge Scholars program, making a strong start toward her degree in kinesiology with a teacher certification. Raised in Blue Ridge, Georgia, Candace also was the first student from the Blue Ridge Campus selected for the prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program, which gave her the chance to teach English in Taiwan.

The Blue Ridge Campus is less than 10 minutes to historic downtown Blue Ridge and Lake Blue Ridge.

The 821-acre Sawnee Mountain Preserve offers 11 miles of hiking trails and outdoor adventures less than 15 minutes from campus.

CUMMING

1,300 STUDENTS Located in one of the fastest growing counties in Georgia where dozens of international companies operate, the Cumming Campus pairs access to big-city opportunities with the close-knit community of a small campus. You’ll have the support you need to achieve your academic goals with wraparound services from the Student Resource Center, which connects you to academic advising, student services, counseling, tutoring and much more.

When Noah Bryant ’21 started his college career at the Cumming Campus, he wanted to do more than just take classes and go home. He wanted to get involved on campus and make a difference. Noah got active in the Student Government Association, which developed his leadership skills, and he stayed involved in SGA when he transferred to the Gainesville Campus to complete his history degree. The next step for Noah is graduate school, where he’ll pursue his dream of being a college history professor.

UNG is one of just six senior military colleges in the nation.

DAHLONEGA

Angel Rosemond’s love of languages, combined with a calling to serve her country, led the senior from Douglasville, Georgia, to the UNG Corps of Cadets. Angel is pursuing a degree in modern languages with a concentration in Arabic, skills she honed in UNG’s intensive Summer Language Program and a study abroad experience in Morocco.

7,200 STUDENTS

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Dahlonega Campus is UNG’s only residential campus. This campus also is home to the prestigious Corps of Cadets and our NCAA Division II Nighthawks athletic teams. Campus clubs, intramural sports and student activities give you lots of ways to get involved and make friends on campus. You’ll love exploring our historic town square or hiking one of the nearby mountain trails. When the big city beckons, we’re just an hour’s drive from Atlanta.

GAINESVILLE 7,500 STUDENTS

Located about an hour from Atlanta in the regional hub for several key industries, UNG’s Gainesville Campus makes a great home base for seeking jobs and internships. Programs unique to the Gainesville Campus include the our film and digital media program, Gainesville Theatre Alliance, Poultry Science and the environmental and spatial analysis program. With off-campus housing within walking distance, you will feel totally plugged in to the Gainesville Campus community.

Just minutes from campus, beautiful Lake Lanier offers 38,000 acres of aquatic fun.

Nick Mitchell is pursuing a degree in film and digital media, a program offered exclusively at the Gainesville Campus. After graduation, the Cleveland, Georgia, native aspires to start his own production company and work in Georgia’s film industry. He has been able to grow his leadership skills by serving in officer positions in several clubs, including being a Diplomat for Diversity for the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs. Nick has taken what he is passionate about and directed it toward his involvement on campus.

The Oconee Campus is located in Watkinsville, a town known for its local artists and unique galleries and exhibits.

OCONEE

She’s pursuing a degree in communications with a public relations concentration and a minor in political science. Isabella is making an impact on campus and developing valuable skills toward her career goal of helping people as a lawyer.

2,600 STUDENTS Just outside of Athens is a smaller campus that provides big opportunities.
