• Earned fewer than 30 transferable credit hours at another college.
• Earned more than 30 transferable credit hours at another college(s)
• Graduated from high school less than five years ago.
• Meet GPA requirements for completed, transferable college credits
• Meet UNG requirements for high school applicants on GPA, test scores and freshman index.
Bachelor’s Applicant GPA Requirements
• Meet GPA requirements for completed, transferable college credits.
Competitive applicants should have at least a 2.5 overall GPA on transferable college credit.
If you graduated from high school more than five years ago and are transferring less than 30 credit hours, you should apply as a non-traditional adult student.

Associate Applicant GPA Requirements A minimum 2.0 transferable GPA.
Apply for transfer admission if you meet any of these criteria: • Have already graduated from high school. • Have taken a transferable college course. • Have not previously earned a bachelor’s degree. • Are pursuing a second bachelor’s degree.
Veterans resource centers at the Gainesville and Dahlonega campuses offer computer stations, free printing, study materials, and more. Student veteran organizations connect you with fellow veterans on campus. UNG’s Green Zone program prepares campus professionals trained to support our veteran students.
