STEP 01.

Apply for admission to the University of Kentucky. admission.uky.edu/apply

STEP 02.

STEP 03.

Once you are admitted to the university, you will need to activate your linkblue account to begin your Campus Housing application. Log into myUK (myUK.uky.edu) using your linkblue username and password to access the Campus Housing and Dining Application and Contract following these instructions:

Student Services / myInfo / Campus Housing / Undergraduate Application / Fall 2023 and Spring 2024

NOTE: A $50 non-refundable housing application fee is due at time of application. Applying early for housing is strongly encouraged.

EARLY ACTION TRACK: February 15

REGULAR DECISION TRACK: June 1

(*For new students attending UK, the last chance to withdraw your housing application without acquiring penalty fees is June 1. Learn more about the contract and cancellation fees at go.uky.edu/HousingDiningContract.)

STEP 04.

Decide whether or not to join a Living Learning Program (LLP). Participating in an LLP determines where on campus you will live. Select up to three LLP preferences within the Campus Housing portal of myUK.

EARLY ACTION TRACK: February 15

REGULAR DECISION TRACK: May 19

STEP 05.

If you decide to join an LLP, you will receive your offer via email and must accept or decline within the Campus Housing portal of myUK by the deadline.

EARLY ACTION TRACK: Accept offer by March 1

REGULAR DECISION TRACK: Accept offer by May 26

STEP 06.

Check your UK email account consistently for communications concerning your Room Selection window and Big Blue Move-In details.

STEP 07.

Participate in Room Selection within the Campus Housing portal of myUK as soon as your window opens.

LLP Room Selection begins March 6 and continues on a rolling basis until May 26. NON-LLP Room Selection begins June 5.

NOTE: The Room Selection window for any applicant is based on Housing application completion date and space availability.

STEP 08.

Schedule your Move-In Appointment within the Campus Housing portal of myUK and prepare for Big Blue Move-In.
