1863................Founding of the Teacher Training College (Seminary) in Jyväskylä 1934................The Teacher Training College becomes

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

International study programmes include

University of Jyväskylä is an active participant in international projects and programmes, such as Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, Comenius, External Cooperation Window and Nordplus.

Annually the University of Jyväskylä participates in approximately 50 international research projects, most of which are EU FP7 projects.
