Book with DIGS, the University of Huddersfield’s preferred, recommended and approved provider, and be guaranteed that you will be offered a place in student accommodation.

Taking a DIGS tour is the best way to find out more. Tours leave regularly throughout the day. F o r m o r e i n f o r m a t i o n Visit the DIGS desk at the Information Fair. Storthes Hall Park This is the place to be if you like being at the centre of things. With over 1300 students, there is something for everyone. With a variety of events, block Vs block competitions and many on site facilities, you will never have a dull moment. The DIGS block reps will help and support you to settle in and meet new friends. Every room is en-suite and there is a range of rooms to suit your budget and needs. Site facilities include: • The Venue – a social space including bar and café, games room, cinema, gaming room, chill-out lounge and study room • Up to 100mb WiFi and broadband • On-site supermarket • Free gym and fitness classes • Launderette • 24 hour on-site security and CCTV • Regular shuttle bus service • Car parking and bike storage • Welfare support available on site. Ashenhurst Houses Ashenhurst Houses is located within beautiful parkland with lots of outside space for a game of footy or the obligatory BBQ during the summer months. With 280 bedrooms and within fifteen minutes walk of the University and town centre, Ashenhurst Houses is a fun and convenient place to be. You will share a house, kitchen and bathroom facilities with up to seven housemates similar to a private let. Ashenhurst residents can also join in the activities at Storthes Hall Park. Both properties are diverse and suit different needs and budgets. Included in your rent are all utilities, fibre optic broadband and WiFi.

Storthes tours Tours will begin at 10.00 and buses will run every 20 minutes. You can stay for as long as you wish and get the next bus back to campus. The last bus up to Storthes Hall Park will be at 15.00.

Ashenhurst tours Tours will run at 11.00, 12.00 and 13.00. The tour itself will take approximately 50 minutes.

Talks If you are unable to visit the DIGS student accommodation, talks will be held throughout the day in The Sir George Buckley Lecture Theatre 10.00 – 10.45, 11.00 – 11.45, 12.00 – 12.45, 14.00 – 14.45.
