Student visa – courses lasting more than six months

If you are not a British citizen and are coming to study in the UK for more than six months, it is likely that you will need to apply for a Student visa. This includes EU/EEA and Swiss nationals, unless you have a status under the EU Settlement Scheme. If you have any other type of visa it is very important that you make sure that this will allow you to study in the UK. If you are unsure please contact visaadvice@exeter.ac.uk. Passengers arriving in the UK without a visa will be refused permission to enter.
