A number of local restaurants are offering a discount to Open Day visitors. To find out more go to exeter.ac.uk/study/ undergraduate/visit/restaurants

Explore the city

If you can find the time during your visit we really recommend exploring the city of Exeter itself. Set in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside and only a short walk from our Streatham and St Luke’s campuses, Exeter is consistently rated as one of the best places to live, work and study in the UK, and was awarded Purple Flag accreditation in Spring 2026. The city centre boasts excellent places to eat, an impressive, modern shopping centre, awardwinning museum, and, of course, the historic cathedral and ancient Roman city wall.

Stroll a few minutes further and you will find the vibrant quayside and beautiful river and canal, and, beyond the city itself, Devon’s rolling countryside, expansive National Parks and miles of beautiful beaches.
