Join our fashion workshop and parade
10am – 2pm The Lounge Docklands campus
Little designers, this is your time to shine! Art in the Docks is running an interactive fashion workshop where kids can craft their own shoes, hats, scarves and more. At 1pm, watch them strut their stuff in a mini fashion parade at Docklands Square.
It’s the perfect way for young creators to show off their masterpieces. Open to UEL students, staff and members of the community. Bring along your little designer!

Fashion facilities at the Docklands campus include pattern cutting and sewing studios that boast state of the art machinery for manufacturing. Production and media students benefit from a range of green screen, newsroom, mac labs, edit, games and animation suites. You’ll be able to tour some of these facilities following the subject talk.
Join us for a live fashion event showcasing outstanding work in design explorations from BA and MA Fashion Design students, including the current graduating class, undergraduate, postgraduates and alumni. You'll get the chance to see exciting new fashion, meet the designers, and celebrate creativity across the University of East London.
The Common Room is a new experimental fashion presentation from the UEL Regenerative Fashion Archive, punctuating the fashion narrative with Fashion Design & collaborative work created with other disciplines including Games, Film, Acting for Stage and Screen, Illustration and Animation, Journalism, Digital Media and Communications, East London Sports, Applied Sports and Exercise Science, Green and Renewable Energy & Engineering. Tamil Society traditional dance performance
The Tamil Society will be showcasing the culture of Tamil communities in south India and Sri Lanka through dance. Come along this lunchtime to experience one of the many cultures that makes up part of our student community.

Starting from the Docklands library along the docks, we'll pause for a special wellness activity to refresh your mind and body. Concluding our walk at SportsDock, our state-ofthe-art sports facility.
Our experienced instructors will introduce you to the wide range of activities and classes available at SportsDock, from HIIT sessions to yoga and strength training. If you're interested, take a guided tour of our facilities to explore the various spaces and equipment available to you as a student.

The following non-repayable scholarships are available for new students starting in 2024/ 2025 via a competitive application. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of merit and need.

The Postgraduate Loan, as well as the opportunity to be awarded from our financial package of postgraduate scholarships, can help with course fees and living costs while you study a master’s course.

I didn't grow up with loads of money and studying in London didn't seem like an option for me. I applied for the Vice Chancellor Scholarship and getting it has meant I can live in halls and get the full university experience.
