UCF College of Medicine UCF is America’s Partnership University™ and our teachers, scientists, and clinicians are working together to build a medical school that is this century’s best.

This emphasis on teamwork is a prominent feature across our missions of research, education, and patient care.

We have more than 2,000 volunteer and affiliated faculty throughout Central Florida; community physicians who teach, mentor and provide clinical experiences for our students. Third and fourth year M.D. students experience clerkship training in 14 different hospital and clinical locations across the state. As a result of our partnerships with VA hospitals, every UCF medical student spends time during his or her training caring for our nation’s heroes.

Our faculty are building new research collaborations across the university, community, nation and world to help solve today’s medical challenges. We’re partnering with physicians to transform healthcare to better serve our patients.

Campus Beauty College of Medicine students study and research in a variety of UCF locations. The M.D. program and the Burnett Biomedical Sciences Building in Lake Nona house graduate programs. Underclass biomedical sciences students study on the main UCF campus.

Facts About the College We’ve grown 10-fold in just five years and by 2016-2017 will be educating 480 M.D. students a year. Our Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences is training over 3,000 undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. students and we recently began a new M.D.-Ph.D. program.
