When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we looked to the University College community of faculty, alumni, and students to help us understand how it was changing the world.
The result is UC Perspectives on COVID-19, a special digital publication featuring: op-eds by UC Professors Paul Hamel, Emily Gilbert, Sarah Wakefield, and Michael Widener; a personal essay on anti-Asian racism by Carrianne Leung, author and UC’s Barker Fairley Visitor in Canadian Studies; an interview with front-line worker and alumnus Stephen Lew (BSc 1992 UC); and an award-winning poem by 2020 UC grad, K Zimmer.
