PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: Claytine Davis

As the President of the University of Technology, Jamaica Circle K International Club, I am honored to share our first quarter review. I am amazed by our club's accomplishments, as we have exceeded 50% of our service hour goals for the entire Circle K year, reaching 54.92% to be exact. Join me in saying "#1UTechCKI" with delight. In addition to our service hours, we have achieved 32% of our inter-clubbing objective, surpassing a quarter of the total. However, we experienced a slight decline in our Kiwanis Family Relations (KFR) goal, reaching only 16%. Despite these challenges, I am confident as we have threequarters remaining. Our second quarter concludes in September, coinciding with the start of the upcoming academic year. I eagerly anticipate a quarter filled with engagement and fellowship opportunities. Just as Erma Bombeck famously said, "Worry is like a rocking chair: it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere." I have no doubt that our club, with its current members and those we are yet to gain, will continue to embody the CKI motto of "living to serve and loving to serve." I wish everyone the best for the upcoming quarter, hoping it will be another fantastic one."
