How can I help better?

In Tantaka we want to help you to help, therefore we organize, throughout the academic year, different formative courses. The goal is to provide basic knowledge on about volunteering and its different areas (disability care, academic support, social integration, development cooperation…) to all those who would like to join Tantaka.

We believe that all areas of knowledge can uncover opportunities for service: we need to know and learn how to serve others.

What is behind Tantaka?

What is

Tantaka requests time, emotion and desire to all who, in a voluntary way, want to contribute to improve things.

We live surrounded by situations of need that challenge us. We understand that nobody knows how to do everything, but we are confident that we all can do and give a little bit of ourselves to others.

It is the charity time bank of the University of Navarra. The intention is to bring together qualified individuals and organizations that take care of social needs in Navarra.

We all have time to give.

Time to change things.

Tantaka means "drop by drop" in Basque. A Turkish proverb says that drop by drop a lake grows, and we want to create along with you an ocean of solidarity.

Throughout the year you can join in on specific events such as food collections, Christmas campaigns, or different sessions of awareness and solidarity organized by organizations in Navarre.

Social integration

Summer volunteering National Project There are needs in Spain that require our time. We do not always need to take a plane and go abroad to help others. Collaboration in national projects can offer us an enriching and different perspective of our own cities.

International project We also offer the possibility of a joint experience in other countries. Depending on the career and the needs of different entities, the areas of collaboration can be varied. To know new cultures and learn from them can widen our perception of the world.
