TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Janet Fisher

QWhy should someone give to Blank Children's?
Blank Children's has an inspiring history and the generosity that continues today is a result of one family’s experience that translated into a calling to address the health care needs in the community.
Today, the commitment to care for the unique needs of children and the family-centered philosophy compels us to support the ongoing efforts of Blank Children’s Hospital. What may feel ordinary for those working in health care is extraordinary for the children and families receiving care.
QWhy are you passionate about fundraising?
I have always been powered by purpose. My personal experiences with my son and Blank Children's are a huge part of my "why."
Fundraising not only raises needed dollars, but it promotes the mission and vision. It is a way for people to show their commitment and love and in return, receive joy for giving.
QWhat are you looking forward to in your new role?
I am looking forward to being a part of changing lives and creating lasting impact by connecting with people and sharing stories. I also look forward to connecting people to their "why" and help celebrate our healthcare workers and the children and families being cared for at Blank Children's.
