Corporate Corner: Get To Know Our Team Each month we feature team members from the Corporate Office to give agents an opportunity to become familiar with the diverse and talented people who help make the company a success.

Customer Support Manager: Anisa Mydini Anisa is our Customer Service manager and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to joining the UWE team in 2018, she worked in education in Europe for eight years. Coming to UWE has given Anisa the opportunity to broaden her horizons and embrace exciting challenges with the company. “I enjoy working with the incredible team I have the privilege of being a part of” says Anisa. Solving complex problems and contributing to the growth of the company is particularly rewarding to her.

Family is her top priority and Anisa cherishes every moment spent with them. She and her husband are raising their two daughters to value hard work and honesty. They enjoy having movie nights, learning new hobbies, and going on family camping trips to appreciate the beauty of nature.

As far as getting the most from the products and the business, Anisa advises everyone to reach out and ask questions, keep learning and growing to improve your skills and knowledge.

Agent Support Senior Team Lead: Theresa Belser Theresa is from the Detroit area and came to UWE in 2019 as a contract employee. She was soon hired permanently and has advanced to Senior Team Lead in the Agent Support Department.

When asked what she loves most about working with UWE, Theresa says the culture and genuine spirit of teamwork at the company is her motivating force. She finds great satisfaction in helping people achieve their goals and encouraging individual growth. She enjoys working with agents to help them succeed with their business. “The biggest reward is when they call to share that they’ve moved to the next level. It’s an amazing feeling.” says Theresa. Her tip for success is to love what you do and make the most of your talents. In her free time, Theresa enjoys spending time with family and baking. She sure does make a delicious lemon pound cake!

Company Updates Cruise Contest Winners Announced The 2023 Cruise Contest ran through the summer months of June, July, and August. The winners will be taking a one-week cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas in December.

2024 National Convention and Money Ball The 2024 National Convention is approaching quickly.

This year UWE will celebrate 20 years in business.

The Money Ball game is a long running tradition at the convention where agents have a chance to win cash prizes. Agents accumulate money balls by registering for the convention, making customer sales for all products, enrolling agents, and achieving title promotions.

The Money Ball game will run from November 1st through December 31st. The Convention is our biggest event of the year and features valuable training with top leaders, new product announcements, live entertainment and more.

Compliance and Financial Literacy A Word From Compliance Building your business is an exciting endeavor. The path to success is full of challenges and commitment and hard work will ultimately lead to fulfilling your goals. Being knowledgeable about compliance policies as they apply to our company and the industry is essential for the long-term success of UWE. Key points of compliance observance are: Accurate Representation: This means making sure social media posts accurately represent the business opportunity and the products. Providing clear and accurate information about the products and income potential is of utmost importance.

Utilizing the Financial Literacy Quiz Have you ever struggled with where to start explaining the value of the Protection Plan to your prospects? With all the Protection Plan offers, it can be challenging to decide where to begin telling people how essential our services are and why they need them.

The Financial Literacy Quiz is a great way to introduce the Protection Plan because it does the work for you.

The Quiz evaluates your prospects’ current situation through a series of questions about their finances and their feelings about where they are. The questions zero in on credit score, savings, budget planning, life insurance and other important things everyone should consider. Leveraging this tool makes people realize they may be lacking the things they need to secure their future and protect their families, giving you the opportunity to start a conversation about the value the Protection Plan offers.
