The 2024 Convention 20th Anniversary Celebration took place on February 2nd-3rd at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. If you couldn't attend in person, you've likely heard about the incredible event it turned out to be.

The festivities commenced with the Founders Leadership Dinner Cruise on Thursday evening, exclusively for Medallion Club members and agents holding Paid As titles of Sales Director and above.

The sunset cruise, hosted by Sun Dream charters on a luxurious yacht, treated attendees to appetizers, cocktails, dancing, and a delightful dinner while gliding across the pictures queinter costal waterways of Fort Lauderdale.

The breathtaking views made for an unforgettable experience, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Friday morning's Opening Ceremonies were nothing short of spectacular, featuring dancers and LED-lit stilt walkers that had the crowd on their feet. CEO Parimal Naik and YFL President Michael Curry took the stage to deliver welcoming remarks along with a 20 Years in Review presentation.

The Money Ball Game, a long-standing tradition, commenced with the top 10 earners gracing the stage to collect their prizes.

The weekend unfolded with heartfelt testimonials, top-notch training sessions from leaders focusing on products, compliance, financial literacy, and additional Money Ball winners.

The grand finale was the 2024 Awards Gala, where agents received well-deserved recognition for their achievements over the past year. Alisa Barnes, the coveted Founder’s Award winner, delivered a motivating testimonial about her journey with the company.

A Convention Recap showcasing all the highlights of the 20th Anniversary celebration will be presented on Saturday, February 24th.

We take immense pride in this year's convention and extend our gratitude to all the agents, our production crew, Devonshire Events, and corporate staff for their efforts in making this event impactful and memorable.

Myrna Brantley Auditor, Will & Trust Department

Myrna, a native of Motown, the great city of Detroit, Michigan, was born and raised in a musical environment. Her aunt was a founding member of the Motown band the Marvelettes and co-writer of the famous song“Please Mr. Postman”. Prior to joining UWE in 2015, Myrna had a successful career in the insurance industry.

In her role as an Auditor in the Will & Trust department, Myrna meticulously reviews online submissions to ensure that documents meet legal criteria. She emphasizes the importance of completing one's Will & Trust as if the documents could be needed the very next day. Additionally, when choosing power of attorneys, Myrna advises appointing only adults, as minors are not legally able to fulfill this crucial role.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Myrna finds joy in various creative pursuits during her free time. She enjoys drawing, painting, and singing off-key for pure fun. Moreover, she values quality time spent with family and friends, and actively engages in her church community.

If you attended our convention in Fort Lauderdale, then you most likely saw or met Customer Service Specialist, Yvonne Fowler.

Hailing fromWestland, Michigan, with southern roots, Yvonne brings 17 years of experience in the photography industry to UWE. She joined the company in 2017, starting inPayment Processing, transitioning to the Documents department, and currently serving as a Customer Service Specialist and credit attorney liaison.

"I believe it's crucial for our agents to know that we are always here to help and that we appreciate their dedication to achieving our mission of financial literacy," says Yvonne.

In her leisure time, Yvonne enjoys watching documentaries ,antique thrift shopping with her mom, and spending quality moments with her 4-yearold granddaughter.
