🌟 Five members from RI District 3240—Suraj Prasad, Roshan

Sharma, Stuti Sharma, Vinit Khandwal, and Triyanshi Paul—had an amazing three-day trip from October 20th to 21st. They explored cool places in IDYE, like the lively Night Garba and impressive Gabbar made by kids. They also enjoyed a fun Kadi City Tour on motorcycles, visiting Modhera Sun Temple, Rani ki Vaav, Patan Patola Heritage, Sahastra Ling Talav, mingling with other clubs, and joining in the energetic Patan Garba. The team had a blast and came back full of happy memories!

The project ' medical health checkup and happiness spreading ' was executed on 16th October 2023, in collaboration with smile care dental clinic. This project was held on Mother Teresa Ashram in Durgapur, a team of dentist from smile care dental clinic were present and almost 15 Rotaractors had participated this project along with our mentor Mr Shoubhik Ghosh and with one of our faculty. We have donated new clothes and a dental kit to the children of that Ashram on occasion of Durga Puja. Our main objective was to bring smiles to their faces, and we received reassurance from the owner of the ashram (Sister) that we indeed succeeded.

On the date 06/10/2023 we held a donation drive for the relief camp project were all of our members actively helped us by collecting needed things for the people who were affected by flood so that we can help them out in this situation.

There were around 15 members actively helping us with this camp,not only they helped us with this project but they were also happy that we are doing this for people who are affected by the flood We got good response from everyone, they all thanked our club as we gave them not only clothes but we also gave them medical kit,blankets,food,water and many more as per their need.

Spreading love and laughter at the orphanage!

Our club had the privilege of conducting a heartwarming project *SMILES OF HOPE* on 15th October, where we taught these amazing kids to create crafts, played games, and shared unforgettable moments with them.

We went there with a total of 7 members from our club. Our primary motive for going to the orphanage was to offer support and care to the children in need. We wanted to spend time with them, provide them with some comfort, and perhaps make a positive impact in their lives. Their smiles were our biggest reward.

As the festive beats of Durga Puja grow louder, Rotaract Club of Dharmanagar proudly unwraps its annual tradition - the mega cloth donation drive named Gift a Smile 5.0 on 18/10/2023 with 6 members.We gifted more than 120 new clothes at Sarala Vitorline J.B School, Bamnia S.B School, Kalikapur Rubber Samiti and different parts of the Dharmanagar town.

These clothes are a symbol of love, a hug from our club to these young hearts. The smiles they brought lit up our entire festival season.

A cleanliness camp jointly with several Rotaract clubs accross the world was organised on 14th oct, 23 in their respective locality.

Greater Tezpur took the responsibility of cleaning and whitewashing at riverside beach at Tezpur with the presence of 6 members. It recieved overwhelming response from the localites and our members and created a change in the area.

ZONE V Rota greetings everyone !

Each year, Rotary International highlights November as the Rotary Foundation Month. The Rotary Foundation transforms people’s gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. Foundation grants empower Rotarians to approach challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition with sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact.

As we embark on the Rotary Foundation month let us celebrate it with the following 4 projects: 1. Art competition 2. Literacy awareness campaigns 3. Self defence worshops 4. Celebrating Diwali at an old aged home/orphanage It is mandatory for all the clubs under zone 5 to complete atleast one zonal project. However, the clubs completing all the projects will be particularly recognised at the zonal meet.

Remember, projects can be executed any day in the month of November.

Let us spread smiles with this small effort and make the world a little better and happier.

Rotaract Club of Silchar executed their biggest flagship project of the Rota Tenure "Rotaract Sharad Shamman 2023" on 4th November, 2023 at Rotary Club of Silchar premises.

Rotaract Sharad Shamman has been showcasing the cultural heritage of the club since a long time and this time it's no different. Rotaract club of Silchar felicitated and awarded the different pujo committees of the town for their immense effort in preserving the cultural spirit of the people of this valley.

With the presence of esteemed dignitaries, Sharad Shamman has been the biggest success of the year.
