Rico, has been recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as recipient of the 2025 Outstanding Professional of the Year Award for Architecture This prestigious award is the highest honor conferred by the PRC to professionals who have rendered exemplary contribution and have demonstrated exceptional competence, integrity, and dedication to their profession. By Ericson P. Europa, FUAP, PIEP Severe Tropical Storm Wipha, known locally as Typhoon Crising, was a strong and deadly tropical cyclone which hit the country in midJuly 2025. It triggered floods, damaged buildings, houses, roads, bridges and agricultural lands. The storm affected more than 9.5 million people, of which 193,000 were displaced and resulted in 40 fatalities. The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) proudly held the grand Service Awards 2025 on June 28, 2025 at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City. Formerly known as the Annual Presidential Recognition and Excellence Awards, this esteemed annual event honors members and chapters who have rendered exceptional service and demonstrated unwavering commitment to the organization, the architectural profession, and the community at large.
