Recently that search took us straight to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago here in (practically) our backyard. Through a special partnership, Unison invited the school’s students to share their talents in creating wallpaper patterns.

Our ask? For designs that speak to Unison’s past, present and future collections, and that incorporate unique prints and modern design.

Kelsey deLisser’s winning design, “Diamond Graphite”, is inspired by tessellating tiles. It fuses the graphic and bold quality of a modern print with an organic line work that has an illustrative quality. This fusion makes the print more approachable for any interior and can fit into a broader range of homes.

Removable wall tiles can be used as pieces of art that stand alone on a wall or in a frame — and are ideal for rental environments, as they will leave no damage or residue to the surface.
