Designed by Verner Panton in 1959, one of Denmark's most influential designers, the Topan Pendant is made from a single piece of spun aluminum, in an understated shade of gray-beige with a matching textile cord. Its timeless shape and style is as relevant today as it was decades ago.

For almost 400 years, Japanese artisans in the Hasami district have been making pottery such as this — simple, unadorned and made from natural Amakusa pottery stones mixed with potter’s clay. A true cultural and design legacy.

Based on Josef Hoffman’s classic 1930 Wiener Werkstätte design, the 811 Chair is crafted in the Czech Republic from steam bent solid beechwood and natural rattan cane and finished using techniques that have been in practice for over 150 years.
