THE MEDINA AND ITS GROUNDS

Rather than corridors, the Royal Mansour Marrakech Riads are connected by pathways within a private medina, where shrubs and flowers border the alleyways, and gardens bloom in inner courtyards. The landscape architect, Luis Vallejo, wanted to create a sophisticated tribute to the Moroccan art of living. Orange trees, honeysuckle, jasmine and roses perfume the gardens … a scent of Morocco.

ROYAL MANSOUR’S RIADS: PRIVACY AND REFINEMENT

Royal Mansour Marrakech offers a unique concept of private Riads (Moroccan traditional houses) for a total immersion in Moroccan lifestyle.

There are a total of 53 Riads of one to four rooms, each uniquely decorated and lavishly appointed in regard of Moroccan authenticity.

The Riad architecture spans across three different floors of the utmost secured privacy and enables an exclusive escape to another world. La Grande Table Française

For La Grande Table Française, chefs deploy the best Moroccan produce to bring a touch of the south to the French gastronomic ideal. For example, since we are in Marrakech, rather than Paris, the wine element of a sauce might be replaced by verjus made with grapes, citrus or tomato. Le Jardin restaurant

For Le Jardin menu, the chef finds inspiration in the writings of the great Moroccan voyager of the 14th century, Ibn Battuta, who brought coal back to Morocco. Fascinated by cooking techniques old and new, the chef was thus inspired to revisit the ancient diptych of the raw and the cooked.

Le Jardin is the creation of the Spanish landscape designer Luis Vallejo. It covers one and a half hectares and is inspired by traditional gardens and agrarian landscapes of Marrakech, making the hotel and its riads an ever more expansive haven of peace.
