Ted Kluck, associate professor of communication arts, is Union’s journalism professor and adviser for its award-winning publication, Cardinal & Cream.

“Academically, I feel very challenged,” she says. “And spiritually, I feel like I grew, just being in community with other believers. Even through cross-country, we had our own Bible study, and we were able to learn about the Lord together and grow together.”
She is a member of Union’s cross-country team and is planning to pursue a career as a doctor.
“I really enjoyed how Union combines faith and academics, especially in my pre-med classes,” she says.

Casey McGehee, Union’s baseball coach, spent eight years in Major League Baseball before playing professionally in Japan for two seasons. He joined Union in 2022 and believes strongly in the community he found here.
