Tonight is a celebration of our program participants who have demonstrated tremendous resilience during the pandemic, our outstanding staff who have continued to provide services throughout these difficult times, and our dedicated supporters and volunteers. We are pleased to highlight Union Settlement’s work in East Harlem, not just during the pandemic, but throughout the past 125 years. We hope to provide you with a deeper understanding of our programs, and by extension, an understanding of how important and impactful our work is in this community. Union Settlement is pleased to honor Dan Paduano, Managing Director of Neuberger Berman and former Chair of the Union Settlement Board of Directors, and Pat Wang, President and Chief Executive Officer of Healthfirst, as our 2020 Honorees. We will also present Citi with the Corporate Partner Award and Milbank with the Law Firm Partner Award for their longstanding support and partnership. You will hear inspiring words from them during the program.
